Fondy Food Pantry’s Food Delivery Service Program

While FFP has always been able to provide food to people in emergency situations through St. Vincent De Paul, Advocap and other area agencies, the quarantine and self-isolation requirements as a result of COVID-19 Safer at Home conditions stepped up the need for moreattention devoted to an in-house delivery service.

Thanks to Jeff Reed, a newly retired faculty member and administrator at Marian University, who came to us with the proposal and willingness to take responsibility of developing and managing the Pantry’s Food Delivery Service program. The magnificent tally of 256 deliveries of hand-picked and hand-packed foods were made to 110 grateful households from March 2020 to end of the year. Kudo’s to Jeff and Sylvia Reed.
